CCT began life in 2003 and was founded by Shawn Davis AKA Milwaukie. We began as an online distributor of broken beat and new jazz and were also early champions of the West London sound, making the music available to people outside London.

By 2004 CCT were being championed on XFM on Nick Luscombes Flo Motion as well as on Radio 1 by Rob da Bank, and there was a growing feeling that this label was making a difference. In 2005 we scaled down the vinyl distribution to create CCT records the label.

In 2005 the label started to become a serious force worldwide and was championed by the top American electronic music show Digital Nimbus. CCT began attracting interest from top media companies in the UK, Scandinavia, Europe, and the USA and also in Japan, people began to realise what we always thought, that CCT was no ordinary label and was becoming very influential in music and in other creative industries globally.

Now as we move further into the new millennium our mission is to create new innovative music and also to inspire the people who live and breathe electronic music. CCT is a label that is making groundbreaking music and taking electronica in a new direction and many influential people and fans alike see this label as a breath of fresh air, breathing new life into electronica.

CCT is seen as one of the new breed of electronica labels doing very positive things for electronica music and has already made its mark on the worldwide scene. We will continue to push the boundaries now and in the future creating new music for new generations’ for many years to come.
